Does the adaptive audio mode work normally?

The motion code works fine, but when I change to adaptive audio mode, the motion doesn’t have any movement. Having trouble using the adaptive audio mode?

Hello JOJAEHYUK,

Thank you for reaching out with your question.

I understand your concern about the motion experience while using the Adaptive Audio Mode.
It’s important to note that the movement generated by the Adaptive Audio Mode is not the same as the dynamic experience you would have with a D-Box Encoded Movie.

In the Adaptive Audio Mode, haptic feedback is automatically generated in response to the audio cues in the content.
On the other hand, with a D-Box encoded movie, our team at D-Box meticulously codes motion to create a tailored haptic experience that perfectly complements the emotions portrayed in the movie.

I know that the experience of watching a movie with a D-BOX code is different from watching a movie in audio mode.
However, my D-BOX has no vibration or motion in audio mode.
Nothing works.
Is there a problem with the product?
It operates normally in D-BOX CODE MODE.
Is there anything I need to set aside?

As all movies (or games) have different soundtrack and style, you might have to adjust the Audio Source Level to optimize the haptic feedback.

Note: Using the HaptiSync Hub/D-BOX VIBE microphone or a HEMC optional microphone is not recommended for this mode.

Of course I also tried turning the audio source level all the way up.
But adaptive audio still doesn’t work. The motion code appears to be working normally, so it doesn’t seem to be a hardware problem. Do I need to modify my software?

Having the same issue here. My Motion 1 has no response to any kind of audio output. It works normally for coded content.

Thank you for your feedback.
I was convinced that this problem was not just mine.
The d-box support team is not aware of this issue yet.

It only explains how to check sound input.
The sound mode worked normally when it was first released.
But at some point it doesn’t work.
Considering that there have been several updates, it seems to be a software problem, but the d-box support team has not yet found the cause.

But when I first tried the sound mode, it didn’t feel good.
I am using two vibration models, buttkicker and soundshaker, but the feel is worse than these two products. I think it’s because the d-box reacts to too many sounds besides the bass. I’m hoping that d-box will at least have a similar feel to the two products.

Hello Rickson, can you provide more details on your device? Are you using an HEMC or Haptisync Hub? Can I get the serial number from your device? You can normally find it on the top of the App’s screen.
